2012 Registration, Payment and Cancellation Policy
Pre-registration: We ask for pre-registration and pre-payment because we have to commit to our expenses (meeting rooms, instructors, etc.) in advance. However, anyone is welcome to wait as late as they wish to pre-register and pay and many do. If we get into a situation where we do sell out (which we try not to do but which does sometimes happen), then we close registration. We also close registration before the day of the class simply because we have to produce rosters and certificates. The exact time that registration closes can vary at our discretion. The bottom line is that anyone may wait as long as they wish to register and take their chances.
Walk-ins: If someone does not register/pay before registration closes for any reason, they are welcome to take their chances and walk-in on the day of class. When there is room, we are happy to accept walk-ins with a $10 late fee per class, or $20 per all day session. Some people prefer to do this simply because they do not want to commit and pay early. One possible disadvantage to this is of course that if we cancel the class (which seldom happens but does on occasion), we have no way to notify them and they may waste their time showing up on the day of class. In this circumstance of course we have no responsibility because there is no pre-registratiuon. Paying by cash or check at the door falls into this category. Neither of these constitute pre-registration and late fees do apply.
Pay by Check: We are happy to accept advance payment by check and will accept a tentative registration if someone wishes to mail payment. If the check is received at least two weeks prior to the class, this is considered a pre-registration and all is good to go. If the check is NOT received at least two weeks prior to the class, the registration is canceled and the individual is treated like any other walk-in (see above policy).
Cancellation Policy: Notice of cancellation received up until the Friday preceding the seminar by the 5:00 PM cutoff will always entitle registrant to reschedule or refund. There will be no refund for late cancellations and no-shows and no exceptions to this policy.
